How to use the Image → PDF Converter
This tool converts one or many images into a single PDF file entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server. Follow the short steps below to create, download or share your PDF.
Step-by-step
- Give the PDF a file name (optional) in the PDF Title field — this becomes the downloaded file name.
- Set Image Size:
- Full size — embeds images at their original size (may produce large PDFs).
- Auto-fit — resizes images to fit the PDF page width while preserving aspect ratio (recommended).
- Max 800px — limits images to 800px width; useful for reducing final PDF size.
- Add images / paste content — use the editor or image upload (depending on page setup). Add images in the order you want them to appear in the PDF. Each “page” in the tool corresponds to a separate image or block you place.
- Reorder, add or delete pages using the page controls. Use + Add Page to insert more pages, or the preview list to open/edit individual pages.
- Download or share — click Download PDF to save the file locally, or Share PDF to open your device’s share dialog (Web Share API). For multi-page PDFs the tool creates a proper file blob so sharing works reliably on supported browsers/devices.
How it works (simple)
The converter renders each editor page (your images + any text) When you choose Full Content (Auto-height), each page’s height is calculated dynamically so tall images/pages are preserved without cropping.
Tips & best practices
- Use Auto-fit for most cases — it balances quality and file size.
- If your images are large, choose Max 800px to reduce the final PDF size and speed up processing.
- For best sharing on mobile, use modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) — the Web Share API must be supported to share files directly.
- If a shared PDF opens immediately after download, it means the encryption option was not supported by your PDF viewer — the file is still readable.
Privacy & security
Everything runs locally in your browser — images and text are not uploaded to our servers.
Troubleshooting
- Share button not opening: your browser/device may not support the Web Share API. Try downloading instead or open the site in a modern mobile browser.
- Images missing in PDF: make sure images are fully loaded in the editor and are not blocked by cross-origin restrictions. Use locally uploaded images where possible.
